This can feel like a huge win initially, because that means you’re no longer in the acute stages of your recovery and that you’re getting by in the day-to-day tasks.
However, this messaging can also suggest that you cannot improve much more beyond where you’re at, and can cause you to inadvertently impose a barrier for yourself.
You may restrict activities and tell yourself not to dream bigger, thinking that it likely can’t happen, so what’s the point?
I believe that there is always more to be done; that improvements can be made. For those who are physically, mentally, and emotionally ready to take on the challenge, I will help you realize this potential by offering skilled, evidence-based, personalized physical therapy treatments.
I provide one-on-one individualized care that meets your needs. In our hour-long sessions, we will have time for me to delve deeper to understand your medical conditions and the various factors that impact how you engage with your environment. We will then develop a focused plan of care to help you achieve your goals.
Initial 60-minute visit
This is where I’ll gather medical history and more information, complete tests and measures to assess your baseline function, and discuss diagnosis, prognosis, and goals. We’ll set up the plan, schedule future appointments, and get you started on your rehab process.
Price: $225
60-minute follow-ups
This is where we’ll dive into exercises, functional strengthening, education, and develop an appropriate home program for your to continue your progress outside of therapy in order to work towards your goals.
Price: $175
Fill out the contact form or email me directly, and we’ll schedule a time for a 20-minute consult call to determine what your needs are and if this will be a good fit for you.
If we decide that we are a good fit, I’ll schedule you for an evaluation so that we can begin working together! I’ll have forms for you to fill out in advance of the evaluation, and we can also discuss if a telehealth visit is more appropriate for you based on your circumstances and symptoms.
Evaluation day! Let’s meet and get your treatment plan started. I’ll spend 60 minutes with you going over medical history, your concerns and goals, objective testing and measures to get your baseline, and discuss our treatment plan. In this first visit, you are welcome to bring a friend or family member who also knows your mobility and impairments well who can provide further insight into your history and goals. If there is a caregiver who will be a part of your rehab, this first session would also be an appropriate time for them to attend, to assist in establishing goals and needs. If you have medical devices/equipment that you typically use (walkers, canes, braces) please bring them to this first visit as well.
You might still have some lingering questions before you’re ready to commit to working together, and that’s okay!
